Challenge L.B.D. Logo: an explanation (well the start of one!)

• The open sea, distant horizons, the great unknown
• Historical activities on water
• The island looks like Lilies of the Valley on Windermere, lots of stories
• The beacon, to guide peoples the right way
• The route from L to R can be done by water, road or on foot, many different paths
• The boulders representing Pleiades, this cluster of stars was known as the Sailing Stars by the Greeks, who would only undertake long, hazardous journeys when these stars were visible
• The forest where we have spent many an hour
• There are some boggy bits!
• The windmill using the natural forces to generate outcomes
• The deep well of knowledge which we have
• The milestone (MS), one of many we have passed
• The moat, defending our values and way of life
