Pete Bursnall

Pete is one of two Directors of Challenge LBD Ltd and has been involved in Management Development since 1992. He also takes responsibility for managing the logistics, getting the right people to the right place with the right equipment at the right time!

 

Pete was born in 1966 and lived in North and Mid Wales where his family ran Education Authority Outdoor Centres. He worked as an Outdoor Instructor for a couple of years before going on to Further Education at Sheffield Polytechnic, as it was then.

Pete enjoys working on a variety of programmes from the intensive “Feedback Skills” programme through to active Team and Personal Development courses.

 

He prefers to lead groups of Graduates and Junior Managers who are keen to learn.

 

He likes to make use of both his outdoor skills and his psychometric qualifications and feels that the two approaches can have a complementary and energising effect on groups and individuals.

 

Courses.

 

Pete has recently attended an Introduction to NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) with John Seymore Associates and a Developing Learning Transfer course with Dr Roger Greenaway.

 

 

Interests.

 

Pete is a keen Paraglider pilot and is the Sites Co-ordinator for his local club.

 

He is a member of the Llanberis Mountain Rescue Team.

 

He has written two Mountain Biking guide books and has a growing interest in astronomy.

 

Pete lives in North Wales with his wife Aila and their year old son Owen.
