Feedback skills
Feedback skills is a
two day interactive programme designed to allow delegates to acquire and practice the skills necessary to provide and receive quality feedback.
|
Day one
- The first morning is spent on input
and discussion of feedback techniques then role-play is introduced
with feedback on the feedback!
|
Day Two
- The second day is run in groups, one
group actively engaged in a task and the other observing and
then feeding back around a pre-established set of criteria/competencies.
|
The Cycle
- The cycle is repeated with each group
having two opportunities to observe and feedback. Typically the
competencies used have been identified by the customer company
as key to the performance of their managers etc. These 'practice'
sessions in a safe and nurturing environment are the key to anchoring
the skills that were learnt the previous day. Delegates get a
feel for what it is like to both give and receive feedback as
well as being able to identify some of the associated difficulties.
|
| |
Group Size
- This programme works best with
between 10 and 14 delegates, preferably in even numbers, as this
allows the role play and group sessions to have the right dynamic.
